Europe is making health data easier to find. But will we know who's in it?

New EHDS rules set out the minimum information health data holders must publish when describing a dataset for secondary use. The sex distribution of the people inside it is not an obvious part of that minimum. Finding out what data exists is one problem; seeing who is actually represented in it is another.
