FemHealth for Clinicians
Women have been systematically underrepresented in clinical trials for decades. Many landmark studies that inform current guidelines enrolled fewer than 20% female participants and did not report outcomes stratified by sex. FemHealth surfaces this information directly in search results - without opening a paper.
Every FemHealth result card shows: the proportion of female participants (where reported), any detected exclusion criteria (pregnancy excluded, breastfeeding excluded, males only), ClinicalTrials.gov phase and enrolment status, and open access availability. All of this is visible before you open the paper.
FemHealth searches PubMed, Europe PMC, OpenAlex, and ClinicalTrials.gov simultaneously on every query. Ten additional sources are available via opt-in toggles including preprints, SciELO, WHO publications, CORE, OpenAIRE, Semantic Scholar, and six traditional medicine corpora.
The Methodology page describes exactly how sex-equity signals are calculated - including known limitations such as publisher-restricted abstracts where extraction is not possible.
