Cardiovascular risk in women shifts at puberty, in pregnancy, after birth and through menopause. We ran a live search for cardiovascular disease and asked all 105 results which of those stages their participants were in. Nine answered. Not one named adolescence, the postpartum year or the menopausal transition.
